Aunt Jean's Christmas Cookie
INGREDIENTS
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
4 eggs, beaten
3 tsp soda
3 tbsp buttermilk
3 cup flour
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup grape juice
2 lb pecan
1 lb canndied cherries
1 lb pineapple
1/2 box white raisins
DIRECTIONS
Cream together first two ingredient and blend in eggs.
In another bowl mix together baking soda and buttermilk.
In another bowl mix flour, cloves and cinnamon.
Add, alternating, flour mix with buttermilk into the creamed mixture. Add grape juice and mix well. Add nuts & fruits & mix well.
Drop on cookie sheet covered by parchent paper and bake at 325°F for 12 - 25 minutes.
