Recipe: Snicker Doodle Cookies

SNICKER DOODLE COOKIES


INGREDIENTS

1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp


DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs together.  Add to mixture flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

Roll into balls.  Roll balls in a mixture of part cinnamon part sugar.

Place 12 balls on an ungreased cookie sheet, mash balls with fork/finger,  place in preheated oven and bake 7 - 10 minutes at 400°F
